Bakgatla royals accuse OP of lies

Government is reportedly so desperate that it has resorted to tactics of deception to ensure a successful meeting by a minister in Mochudi, Mmegi has learnt.

Sources close to the ongoing saga in which Bakgatla royals have declared Kgatleng out of bounds to the Central Government say the Minister of Defence, Justice and Security Ramadeluka Seretse and lawyer Parks Tafa have rendezvoused with the Paramount Chief of Bakgatla Kgosi Kgafela to ask him to let a scheduled Kgotla meeting by a government minister to go on in Mochudi.

Kgafela's deputy, Kgosi Sekai, has confirmed that Seretse and Tafa met Kgafela and pleaded with the chief "to allow [Local Government]Minister [Peter] Siele to hold a Kgotla meeting, but he refused". The Siele meeting was scheduled for yesterday.
