Back-To-School students in knife stabbing incident

Thamaga police are investigating a case in which a male student at Thobega Junior Secondary School in Mankgodi severely stabbed another with a knife last Thursday.

 The students, both 18 years are enrolled in the Back-To-School programme rolled out in August last year. 
The Station Assistant Superintendent Parkie Pius who is handling the case said the students - both doing Form Two had a misunderstanding but he did not go into details.

"Investigations are still on, but I can confirm that it did happen at a tuck shop in front of the school," Pius said. The victim is still at Princess Marina Hospital where he was admitted in a critical condition on the fateful day. Pius said officials there have reported that he is recuperating well and 'out of danger'.
