Ba Isago students complain about late registration

Some students at Ba Isago University College have accused the institution of failing to register them on time with UNISA.

A week after the closing date for registration, the students claim they are still in the dark about whether they have been enrolled or not. They say that Ba Isago is giving them conflicting messages and sending them from pillar to post over the matter. Ba Isago University is a licensee college of UNISA. Orientation week has already started at the college yet some students say they have not been registered.

A student told Mmegi yesterday that she was worried that classes are about to start but she is yet to receive her study pack and buy the prescribed books. "Confirmation is usually out four to five days after registration but as for us, we have been waiting for weeks now. The college is sending us from pillar to post. Now they are asking for Form Five results and identity documents. This is not necessary because we have long submitted these when we started studying here," said the third- year student. She said some students are receiving their study packages and are getting ready for classes next week.
