Auditor General scorns PPADB work

A damning report of the Auditor General reveals the failure of the Public Procurement and Disposal Board (PPADB) 'to carry out its core duties in accordance with best practice standards'.

According to the report, some members of the PPADB's evaluation committee have not only failed to declare their business interests, but they also have not signed a code of ethical behaviour, something which, the Auditor General fears, "may lead to leakage of information during the evaluation of projects as illustrated at Maun and Letlhakane District Administration Tender Committees (DATC)".
