Armed robbery suspect's case deferred

A notorious robber, Botsi Kefitile, 26, of Tshosa Ward in Molepolole, is scheduled to appear before regional magistrate, Lot Moroka next month. Kefitile, who was arrested last month, is charged with several counts of armed robbery and unlawful wounding.

He was scheduled to appear at the Gaborone Village Magistrate's Court on Wednesday but could not due to ill health. The matter was therefore postponed to November 9.

Security agents arrested Kefitile at Ga-kgatla post officewhere he wanted to steal old pensioners' funds. Before his arrest, it is said he shot and wounded a Trojan security officer in Molepolole on October 8.
