Are district museums on the brink of collapse?

While most countries are proud of their history and culture and would go to war to fight to preserve them, a number of regional museums in the country are on the brink of collapse.

It appears nobody is ready to take responsibilty for the pathetic state of the museums in the midst of accusations and counter-accusations.

As the mudslinging and finger-pointing between the government and the district museums go on, deterioration of the latter worsens. Misappropriation of funds, tribalism, nepotism and general mismanagement are being bandied around.
