AP Grills Candidates On Clean Campaigns

More often than not politicians attack each other during political campaigns and give less time to addressing bread and butter issues. In order to tackle this, the Alliance for Progressives (AP) has over the weekend launched a training programme in Letlhakeng to arm their candidates who will be going to elections for the first time under the party ticket.

“This training programme is meant for all AP candidates for 2019 elections; at both parliamentary and council level, together with branch leadership, campaign teams and select operatives,” AP Special Advisor, Margaret Nasha said.

“We take them through party policies. Principles and core values of the party are explained in full. The idea is to get our people to concentrate on issues, as opposed to personal attacks on opponents.”
