Another counter-appeal in the Daisy Loo case

The legal battle between Daisy Loo and the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) is far from over. In the latest development, the DPP has reportedly appealed a decision by Lobatse High Court judge Unity Dow barring the state from touching Daisy Loo's P24 million.

But when contacted about the appeal, the Director of DPP Leatile Dambe neither confirmed nor denied the report.

But Isaac Bahuma of Mack Bahuma Attorneys, the law firm acting for Daisy Loo, confirmed that they had received court papers about the state's intention to launch an appeal.
