American universities to explore opportunities in Botswana

At least 11 American universities, including the famed Havard University, are visiting Botswana this year to explore possibilities of doing business in the country, Botswana's Ambassador to the United States of America, Tebelelo Seretse, has announced.

The first delegation arrived in Gaborone yesterday (Sunday) and will be in the country until March 2,while another delegation will arrive on March 5 and leave on March 12.

Seretse made the announcement at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation offices in Gaborone on Friday. She said the American universities that were coming to explore possibilities of research and collaborating with local institutions through programme franchising, among others.
