American couple build multi-million Pula centre

MAUN: An American couple's dream to build a facility for disadvantaged children throughout Ngamiland has been achieved in the form of a sprawling multi-million Pula structure in Sedie.

Maun-based Love Botswana Outreach (LBOM) Mission last week unveiled the P30 million life centre to the media envisaged for opening in April next year.

Evangelists Pastors Jerry and Jana Lackey who foundered the LBOM after arriving in Maun in 1987 say they collectively conceived and executed this dream for the benefit of the people of the Okavango Delta despite all challenges they faced. The centre will provide disadvantaged children - in and out of school in Ngamiland - with life skills programmes and services.
