Ambassador Appeals To Public Over Disability

Tebogo Balebetse is appealing to the public to support People living with Disabilities (PWD). The ambassador for the disabled said that time has come for people to stop discriminating or shunning PWDs.

"I want to call on all parents with children living with disabilities to take them to clinics or to social workers to get assistance on how to enroll them into government programmes tailored for them," he said.

Balebetse noted that government has an early childhood programme funded and sponsored by the Special Education department in the Ministry of Education (MoE). "The ministry has also ensured that there is at least one teacher in all schools for special education," he said.
