Airport Terminal On Time For World Cup

The new P400 million Sir Seretse Khama Airport (SSKA) terminal is expected to be completed before the end of the month, government sources have announced.

The state of the art terminal, which has been designed to promote SSKA as an international gateway into the rest of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region will open in time for next month's FIFA World Cup finals in neighbouring South Africa.

Initially, the expansion was also meant to attract big national teams such as England, America and one of the African countries to set up base in Botswana for their World Cup preparations.
