Accused officers differ with their lawyers

The six police officers accused of killing Italy Setlampoloka during the interrogation after his arrest for suspected robbery seem to be headed for a disagreement with their defence attorneys on how to approach their case with the state.

This emerged after the defence attorney for some of the suspects, Kgosietsile Ngakaagae, told the High Court yesterday that they (the defence team), was facing difficulties with their clients.

Ngakaagae told the court that he and the other defence lawyer were having a problem with the officers in relation to the defence strategy to adopt during the proceedings.
