*Murder accused granted bail as another victim fights for dear life in ICU

KANYE: A relationship that apparently went sour has left one person burnt to death and another fighting for her life at the Intensive Care Unit of Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone. Secondary school teacher, Gaone Molwalefe, who was allegedly hell-bent on killing his girlfriend and mother of his child, allegedly went berserk two days before Independence after a misunderstanding and set the house the family were sleeping in alight.

The state has now preferred five criminal charges, among them murder and attempted murder, against the 37-year-old teacher, which are related to the fire that burnt the house belonging to Neelo Kgosikwena. It has been revealed that some family members were able to escape the raging inferno that razed their house to the ground.
