Dr Who said it was uncool to be God-cool

By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth; I sought him, but found him not. I will rise now, and go about the city, In the streets, and in the broad ways, I will seek him whom my soul loveth; I sought him, but I found him not. (SS 3:1- )

Who said that it is un-cool to sing about God or rap about God? To write prose or poetry about the big guy - I have asked a few hip hop artists; those who are ambivalent, on course, at peace or even open anti-God always have a response. Hip hop is hip hop and speaking about it as @Uno-July elaborates entails ‘Its history, its various elements and facets. Classic albums, phenomenal rappers to ever do it and the role-players.’ Lecrae is fine, I mean hot, good-looking and has blessed the Bee-dub soils as part of his mission to serve God.
