Young Black gets Higher Naija-style

With Naija pop music being one of the top selling genres in the continent at the moment rapper, Tsaone ‘Young Black’ Sekambo, decided to take this route. He released a new Naija Afro pop single, Higher.

The rap track, which has Naija Afro pop beats, was produced at the rapper’s stable, Bang! Gae.  The single hit the music shelves three weeks ago, featuring vocalist Cassy.

Young Black surprised his followers by taking this route as he was well known for strictly sticking to rap music.  Upon listening to the song one may be forgiven for assuming that Higher is a Nigerian song because of its beats and the accent that Young Black puts on in the track. “My intention was to make a track that people can enjoy and dance to, so I decided to use such a beat because it is catchy and can easily make one dance to the song,” said Young Black. He said Higher is a perfect tune for people to dance to during events and music festivals.
