US-based DJ set to mesmerize

He explained that he started off as a promoter in the second city back in 1999 before embarking on DJeing  in Johannesburg. In 2008 he relocated to Texas, US where his dream of becoming a producer blossomed. Multi- talented DJ Dagizus indicated that the show will launch his album titled Gwendo, which is a Kalanga name referring to the journey.  DJ Dagizus disclosed that he collaborated with a local afro-pop crooner, Lizibo Simon, to come up with the melodies tune of Gwendo.

He added that he is collaborating with local artists, Lizibo and Zeus in launching the album. He revealed that he has featured Zeus in one of the tracks in the album titled Momentum. DJ Dagizus said he will be performing alongside the local musicians to create a platform for them in order to showcase their talent. “Batswana do not support local content but when an international musician is among them, the show will attract more revellers for their support,” he noted.
