The 21-year-old Miss Botswana who had no pageantry or modelling experience prior to participating in this year’s pageant, is a Moshupa native, a second born in a family of five children. Unlike many, she did not have an opportunity of spending her early childhood years in her native country, as she had to relocate to Japan at the age of two. “At a tender age of two, I followed my family in pursuit of my father’s posting in Japan to which he was one of the officers at the embassy of Botswana. I have spentmost of my life in Japan but that doesn’t make me any less Motswana,” said the model , a second year student at the University of Botswana (UB)studying political science and public administration.
In 2003 Kenosi came back to Botswana where she stayed just for four years and relocated to South Africa where she schooled two years. She then came back to Botswana where she also schooled for just nine months. She then went back to Japan in 2010.
