The recently departed political leader Gomolemo Motswaled was honoured at the Maharaj on Saturday by the UCCSA Trinity Church Choir, for being the torch bearer in transforming the church choir with his impeccable directing, conducting, and composition skills.

Motswaledi was described as one of the country’s finest and most versatile conductors, foremost music educators, and the youngest, most dynamic music leader.

Gape Motswaledi, received the honour on his behalf. He spoke about how his brother started his musical journey at an early age and then enhanced his musical training at public schools. He also described him as having a rare talent and genius for music, both as a writer and conductor.
