The elimination of Galaletsang Kgaudi from talent search show My Star last week only marked an end of an era but not a dream.

The young woman’s talent is not in doubt. She is confident that her dream of becoming one of the country’s top performers still lives.

A few weeks ago she mesmerised all – the crowd, the judges well as the television audience- with a mind-blowing performance of Celine Dion’s My Heart will go on. In fact, after that performance there was nothing to suggest that she would crush out so early in the competition.
