One of the most influential visual artists the country has ever had, Otsetswe Bogosibokae, was buried on Saturday at his home village in Molepolole.

Multitudes including family, friends and fellow Rastafarians said their last goodbyes to celebrate the life lived by the late legendary artist. Representatives from the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture (MYSC) and Thapong Visual Arts were also there to support Bogosibokae’s family.  At the funeral, many speakers sang accolades to describe the kind of a man he was. Being a person who followed the Rastafari way of life, Bogosibokae was described as man who believed in God.

“He didn’t write his name in the soil but he wrote it in the heaves,” one of his friends said.
