Reigning Miss Botswana, Thata Kenosi missed out big on the Miss World 2016 pageant where she did not even make it to the top 20 on Sunday night.

Stephanie Del Valle from Puerto Rico walked away as the winner of this year’s Miss World and succeeded Mireia Lalaguna Royo of Spain. 

Despite being a favourite to win The Great Pageant Community (TGPC) Miss Popularity, where she was on second position, she did not make it to the top 20 contestants. Kenya and Ghana were the only African countries to make it into the top 20.
