Flamboyant Gardens in Thamaga is set to come alive on May 23 as the Iponagatse Community Talent Show takes centre stage, promising a vibrant celebration of creativity, culture, and raw local talent.

Starting at 11 am, the event aims to spotlight hidden stars from across Kweneng and surrounding villages, offering a platform for performers of all ages to shine. From powerful vocalists and energetic dancers to choirs, comedians, poets, and even magicians, the show is shaping up to be a dynamic showcase of community talent. Event organisers say the initiative goes beyond entertainment, but it’s about discovery, empowerment, and giving people a stage they might not otherwise have.

“There is so much untapped talent in our communities. This event is about giving people an opportunity to be seen and heard. You never know who might be the next big name, so we want to be the platform that helps uncover that,” the organisers of the show told this publication.
