FRANCISTOWN: Mosimanegape Phetolo, a native of Serowe, makes a living by painting and imagination drawing. The 19-year-old teenager started drawing and painting during his primary school days using pencil, pen, charcoal and paint to create his artwork.

In an interview with Arts and Culture, Phetolo said he has created 15 paintings and about 25 drawings using the same art mediums. He stated that since he performed poorly in his Junior Certificate Examination (JCE), he has been exploiting art to make money.

Thus far, he said his artworks have generated money and are also a source of his livelihood.
