TAYA searches for best artist

With only three weeks left before the annual Thapong Artist of the Year Awards, coordinator Reginald Bakwena has warned that only the best pieces will be considered.

The awards will be held on December 6 and will coincide with the official launch of the revamped exhibition hall.

Although there are five categories - being painting, drawing sculpture, craft, photography and installation - competing, Bakwena warned that they would not hesitate to disqualify all exhibits in a particular category if they felt they did not match their standards.
