Following a theatrical and intimate performance last year where they served their following - the natives - a full bouquet of songs, Sereetsi & the Natives are set to go on repeat of the same feat during The Natives Experience on April 29.

The band has this year promised to take the notch a little higher as they take the patrons down the memory lane with performances from their hit songs. The event will be held at Maitisong Theatre in Gaborone This year, the event will also mark a launch for the multi-award-winning contemporary folk band’s first ever Botswana tour as they celebrate their eighth anniversary. “We are going to take the Natives down memory lane, playing all of the songs from the three albums that we have released so far.

It will be a journey from the first time they fell in love with the unique native vibes like Robete and Thaa Kokome to the present day modern classics like Petere,” said the band leader and founder, Tomeletso Sereetsi.
