Poets Treat Audience To Rich Setswana Poetry

A number of poets left the audience mesmerised with their beautiful Setswana poems at Mantlwaneng when one of the country’s most talented poets, Moroka Moreri and Nkokowe Band launched a new CD on Saturday.

Most of the poets dished rich Setswana poems filled with mainane, dithamalakane, maele and other language components. Amongst them was Gosego Letsatsi, a talented poet accompanied by a young man who shocked the house with his beautiful ullulating skills.

That young man stole the limelight, as the crowd cheered for him whilst others could not seize praising his ululating skills besting it over most women’s. Black African Poetry also treated the audience with her poetry titled We Are The Quote Of Many Colours. The poem was a fusion of English, Setswana and Sekgalagadi languages.
