New local TV hits the waves

Newly incepted private local TV station, Access TV, has made a take off as it started broadcasting locally and around the sub Saharan region. The youth oriented TV Access was incepted early this month, with a couple of local TV programmess receiving some airplay and music videos having dominance at the moment.

The TV station located at Finance Park, Gaborone is a free-to-air station, which can be accessed on Dstv and Philibao decoders. The TV station is a self-financed brainchild of Gabatsoswe Mogapi and Thatayaone Gumede.

“Basically we are a strictly youth-oriented private TV station licensed by Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA). Our objective is to broadcast 100 percent local youth related content, communicate with the youth in a manner that is easy for them to relate and understand,” stated Gumede.
