For upcoming South African musician, Slindile Mthiyane, a combination of reggae, Afro-pop and heavy beat gospel is doing the trick.
The strategy has worked wonders for the Kwazulu Natal musician in luring hundreds of fans to her shows. Slindile’s debut album, Uyinkosi was a big hit. Her combination of Afro-pop influenced instrumentation and the word of God made her album one of the best selling in Botswana in the summer of 2010.
