MonoRac out to change the hip-hop game in Botswana

Everyday the hip-hop industry in the country grows bigger and gets better, thanks to the young, creative and innovative stars like Samora “MonoRac” Nthobatsang. Rac, as he is known to his fans and friends, is a promising and upcoming hip-hop artist who has gained fame in the streets of the capital city more especially in his neighbourhood at Gaborone West Phase 4.

The 29-year-old’s single, Sefokella has gained popularity amongst the young generation and hip-hop lovers since it was released in June this year. In an interview with Showbiz, MonoRac said he was impressed with the feedback from his fans on Sefokella. “This song has gained popularity despite not being given enough exposure.

We have decided to first take it to the streets before we could promote it in various media houses but we are so far happy with the response,” he said proudly.
