Monei Events to celebrate motherhood in style

In the words of former American president Abraham Lincoln, “All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother”. These are words most of society can still utter with regards to mothers in the community.

It is for this very reason that people take time to celebrate mothers, just to show them love and appreciation.  Monei Events Projects Pty Ltd has developed its own tradition of giving back to the mothers of the nation in a stylish and elegant event now known as the Mother’s Day High Tea and this year they celebrate their third anniversary since the event’s inception in 2016.  This year’s event will be held at Lodubeng Village Park in Kanye on May 13 under the theme ‘intergenerational parenting’.

“It is just a way of appreciating our mothers at the same time celebrating the bond between mothers and daughters,” director and founder of the event, Nayang Nkwakweng told Arts & Culture. Nkwakweng said they only invite daughters because they are the mothers of tomorrow.
