Mandla Spikiri to thrill King Jagaban Lounge

Kwaito music lovers, prepare your machesa and get ready to dance to Kwaito tunes in a weeks’ time. This is because, South African music star, Mandla Spikiri returns to the local stage to perform at King Jagaban Lounge in Mogoditshane on May 5.

Mandla Spikiri, a founding member of popular South African Kwaito group, Trompies will remind local revellers why he is one of the pioneers of the music and take them down memory lane with some of the group’s yesteryear hits.

This time though, the iconic Kwaito star will not be in the company of other Trompies members, but serve Kwaito local revellers a full bouquet of kwaito hits as a solo artist and also Trompies songs during an event titled Winter Session with Mandla Spikiri. With a new wave of music genre currently dominating the music events, it will be an opportunity for deep-rooted Kwaito enthusiasts to have fun the best way they know how during while watching the performance of one of their celebrated icons. The Kwaito legend last year released an exciting collaboration on new single Ta nala (Come here) that features Kwetsa as well as Amapaino duo Reece Madlisa and Zuma.
