Mandisa Mabuthoe will once again be on the list of poets to perform at the Zimbabwean capital’s Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA) to be held from April 29 to May 3.

In its 15th year running, HIFA is a highly acclaimed six-day annual event that showcases and promotes the arts in all their forms.  The festival attracts local, regional and international artists.

Mabuthoe is no stranger to the HIFA Hivos Poetry Café stage where she first performed last year.  This will be the second year in a row for the poet to perform at HIFA and she could not be happier.  The budding wordsmith revealed that she feels honoured that she has been called to perform.
