After being crowned the sixth winner of the Queen Esther Beauty pageant over the weekend at Maitisong Theatre, 17-year-old Bophelo Maatla Lesolobe is now determined to encourage girls to abstain from sex and alcohol.

Lesolobe told Showbiz that she decided to join the pageant to focus on young girls.  Lesolobe said she was not interested in the beauty pageant before, but felt the need to pass on the knowledge that she has to other young girls.

Lesolobe said she wants to lay the foundation properly for younger girls.
