Keasiile�s love for ceramic

In an interview with Arts & Culture, Keasiile said she liked moulding various items with clay soil from a very young age. She said when she got to junior secondary school, she did art as one of her optional subjects and learnt to make sculptures using clay. Her artistic journey continued at senior secondary school where she learnt how to make ceramic using clay. That is where her passion shifted from making sculptures to ceramics.
“I was always the best in art both at junior and senior secondary school. I always passed art subjects with flying colours. At senior secondary my passion for ceramic grew,” she said.
March 28 will go down as a day that Batswana will never forget because of the accident that occurred near Mmamatlakala in Limpopo, South Africa.
