Twenty-year-old Katlego Gaotsenelelwe from Letlhakane will represent the country at this year’s Miss Heritage pageant. The beauty contest, which will feature contestants other countries all over Africa, will be held in South Africa from December 2 to 14, 2014.

Speaking Showtime, the excited modelGaotsenelelwe said it has always been her dream to make her country proud and going to compete in Johannesburg will give her the opportunity to do just that.

“Although I grew up as a tomboy, I only realised that I was actually good at beauty contests after being crowned Miss McConnell, which was where I did my high school,” she said.
