Johwa returns to Buyel'Ekhaya festival

Husky voiced jazz musician Ndingo Johwa is headed for East London, South Africa on December 15 to perform at the annual Buyel'Ekhaya Music Festival. He will be making his second appearance two years after impressing in the last edition.

The artist will be part of the international contingent, which includes Angelique Kidjo, Oumou Singare, Hugh Masekela, Ringo Madlingozi, Mafikizolo, Khuli Chana, DJ Oskido, DJ Zinhle, DJ Pastor and LaPheefa.

His promoter Robert ‘Dargie’ Dargirari was instrumental in securing a slot for the artist.  Dargie said Johwa’s participation in the show would not only benefit him (Johwa), but is also likely to open avenues for other local artists in the future.
