Indigenous Spaces exhibition explore nature

Two talented local artists have decided to depict Botswana’s natural world through original artworks that celebrates the natural heritage. Last week Qaeqhao Moses Maaramele, and Danniela Lourenco hosted an exhibition entitled “Indigenous Spaces”. Mmegi Staffer MOMPATI TLHANKANE went to the gallery-wide exhibits that reconnect with nature.

The artworks promote and support wildlife and habitat conservation, biodiversity, sustainability and environmental education.

The beauty of Botswana has inspired these artists to transpose it on to canvas and therefore producing art that is pleasing to the eye.  Moreover, Maaramele and Lourenco portray a fundamental message about nature of the beauty that exists in Botswana’s scenery.
