David Oyelowo, who stars as Prince Seretse Khama in the film “A United Kingdom,” says his character’s real-life son, president Ian Khama, came to see them while they were filming in Serowe.

Rosamund Pike plays his mother, Ruth Williams Khama.

“Rosamund was in the middle of doing a scene and [the president] turned up unannounced in a helicopter, by himself, landed it, and sat down next to me behind the monitor,”
