Upcoming House musician, Johnson 'Hotpack' Mabuta intends to promote Chipero, a traditional Subia dance, through a new single next month.

The title of the song Zane Chipero literally means 'Let us dance the Chipero style' and Mabuta is confident local music lovers will identify with the song.  He draws inspiration from the response he got when he performed the song at Trekkers in Kasane last month.

"The track is done in Subia language which is spoken in the Chobe District.  It is a cultural song. The whole idea behind it is to promote the Subia cultural dance called Chipero," he told Showbiz.
