Most artists have creative juices flowing within them, but it is not always easy to start thinking in an inventive and bubbly way. Mmegi staffer MOMPATI TLHANKANE sat down with a talented jeweller from Maun to inquire about her artistry.

We all know that a clothes pin or peg is a fastener used to hang clothes for drying, usually on a clothesline, but Omogolo Nkulu Gomosie thinks otherwise. She decided to take small clothes pegs and turn them into earrings. Being a multidisciplinary artist, she did not stop at that but went all out to unleash more creative juices in her other artworks.

Gomosie makes all kinds of jewellery ranging from earrings, neckpieces, bracelets, beads and many other decorations. She uses mostly glass beads and with some of her jewellery made from paper, plants, leather and wood.
