Former My Star contestant to launch first single

“Being eliminated from the Top 7 was where my dreams in the competition were shutdown, but that did not stop me from aspiring to be great. I had gained confidence, stage management, and singing skills, and with that I continued to sing at my current church, Winners Chapel. “As I grew, with the support of people, I started to sing outside church. Now I have a group, which will be officially launched mid-March called We Must Praise,” said Botshelo. We Must Praise is a group of youngsters from different churches with the purpose of praising God. Vusi is currently a student at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, where he is pursuing an Associate Degree in Business Management.
He told Showbiz that he is also a vocal training coach. The leader and founder of the gospel group further said that he also does shows and ministering in different places. Vusi said he expresses his emotions through singing. “I am very emotional, and yet a strong young man. Music has always been my pillar. Music helps me connect to my inner emotions and I am able to get comfort from it,” Botshelo said.
