Filmmakers gear up for first ever expo

The event will be the first coming together of film and TV industry professionals under one roof.  Inspired by the US China Film and Television Industry Expo, Film and TV Expo Botswana will give attendees a chance to interact, engage, consult and view various departments in the local industry.

In an interview with Showbiz, the event creator Yoko-Ono Manowe said they created the event to brand Botswana in real time.  She said in this cosmopolitan world, film and TV play a vital role hence the need to have an expo.
