Fatima Mekgwe to showcase at Zim fashion week

Mekgwe stated that she is privileged and humbled to be chosen as the only international designer to grace the event as this shows that people appreciate her work outside her country. “The country wanted to celebrate the essence of Zimbabwean designers however inviting an international designer each year is to add an extra exciting element to the line-up, so this year I am invited, and I suppose they see that my designs will add a bit of colour in the event,” she said.

Mekgwe will be leaving this week for the fashion week.
