Exquisite art display at gallery opening

Sophie Lalonde Art, housed in one of the city's tallest buildings, High Towers, opened its doors to the public last week with works from local and international artists.

The relatively new art gallery owned by Sophie Lalonde held a three-day viewing on Wednesday for its private client, the First National Bank, and for the public on Friday. Speaking to Showtime, Lalonde said the gallery would grow and continue to house exhibitors across the continent to showcase and sell their pieces.

She explained that the viewing was just a sneak peek of what the gallery intends to do to grow and give artists space to showcase their talent to the world and open new markets.
