Dreams Botswana launched their new lifestyle magazine at Masa recently. The lifestyle magazine owned and produced by two Batswana women is available in major supermarkets, stores, curio shops and filling stations, across the country.

Co-owner and managing editor of Dreams Botswana, Charmaine Revaka-Muir, said she and her partner Olivia Britz saw a need to start a lifestyle magazine because of their passion for writing. The two women decided to do market research, which showed that Batswana long for a local lifestyle magazine.

“We started thinking and talking about a lifestyle magazine over 10 years ago and in 2014 we conducted some market research to establish whether there is room for an up-market lifestyle magazine in Botswana. We got very interesting results and certainly some valuable pointers with regard to what people are looking for,” she said.
