DJ Onks develops wireless mixer

Onkabetse Manthe is proof that with hard work anything is possible. After several trials developing a wireless sound mixer the 33-year-old DJ has finally made a breakthrough. Manthe who goes by the stage name DJ Onks said that doing time in prison has given him a chance to turn a new leaf.

He said that he served a year in prison after a housebreaking incident and was released in 2009. After his release from prison Manthe said that he decided to get his life in order.  He started working on the idea of developing the mixer, which he thought of while he was in prison. 

The former inmate said that initially when he developed his wireless mixer, he started by connecting phones to the keyboard.  He said that he would later upgrade to develop his current portable model.
