“Dikeledi lesa go lela, ke bina pina e monate e thantsha batho, ka wena fela Dikeledi” (Dikeledi stop crying, I’m playing a beautiful song about you and it is driving people mad), these lyrics from George Swabi’s song Dikeledi performed by three artists including an original by Swabi with his four-string guitar was the highlight of the Folklore Festival at UB Amphitheatre on Friday.

Despite the very poor sound quality that messed up the experience, the legendary Swabi showed his prowess.

People could not hear the guitar sound, but he kept pleading with Dikeledi to stop crying as he is singing this beautiful song about her.
