In an interview with Arts&Culture, Dalom Music manager, Silvia Tshanda, explained that the event is a fundraising exercise as well as a come-together for Mochudi Centre Chiefs fans after a five-year absence from the country’s top-tier league. “We wanted to join football and Dalom Music fans together under one roof in celebration of good music as they kick-start the festive season. This event will be hosted annually and this will be our first edition. The event will start from 12 noon to 6am the next day. Our event targets both the young and the old,” Tshanda said.

Performers for this event include Paige, Mr Brown, Lioness Ratang, Nthandoyamahlubi (Kude hit maker), Vee Mampeezy, Peacock, Tafula Splash Band, Matshikos, Juu Matere, Teejay, DJ Skizoh BW, DJ Billy, Da O, Bosslady (myself) and Montana. MC’s will be Babe Police and MC Emba. Furthermore, Tshanda said it was a lot of work to organise an event and thanked her partners and Magosi Maaparankwe team for their dedication in ensuring that everything ran smoothly.
