Since 2005 Culture Spears has been flying the blue, black and white flag high across the borders.

This week it continued making Batswana proud after stunning thousands that thronged the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) 10th year anniversary. The event was hosted in Marikana, Rustenburg, last Wednesday, before the main one at the FNB stadium on Saturday.

EFF president, Julius Malema said when he, EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu and the late Sindiso Magaqa visited Marikana 11 years ago, where then 34 striking miners were killed in 2012, some of the miners who survived the shooting asked them to form an alternative political party to the ruling African National Congress (ANC), and they heeded the call.
